I was expecting an intellectually challenging read but in fact the book can be finished pretty quickly - because of the empty and half-empty pages you get 28 pages of poetry for 8 pounds. The poems are single-purposed - once you've got the point of them they go down easily. I liked "A Promising Breakthough" and "The Perfect Crime" from the "Keeping Mum" sequence. Some other poems in that sequence were unsurprising. I liked the "Chaotic Angels" sequence more.
